The wheat market is showing some slight gains at the midday part of the Monday session. CBT soft red wheat futures are 1to 2 cents higher at midday. KC HRW futures are 1 to 2 cents in the green so far on Monday. There were 22 deliveries against September, which expired on Friday, with the monthly total at 663. MPLS spring wheat is trading with contracts fractionally mixed at midday
USDA tallied wheat export shipments at 775,073 MT (27.479 mbu) during the week ending on September 11. That was 80.6% above last week and 31.34% larger than the same week last year. Mexico was the destination of 202,728 MT, with 162,277 MT headed to Indonesia, and 100,712 MT to South Korea. Marketing year exports for 2025/26 are now 7.855 MT, which is now 12.09% above the same period last year.
The Friday afternoon Commitment of Traders report showed spec traders in Chicago wheat futures and options adding 10,451 contracts to their net short position of 92,394 contracts by Tuesday September 9th. In Kansas City futures and options, specs trimmed their net short position by 1,656 contracts to 53,025 contracts.

Mar 26 CBOT Wheat is at $5.42 3/4, up 1 3/4 cents,
Dec 25 KCBT Wheat is at $5.16, up 1 1/4 cents,
Mar 26 KCBT Wheat is at $5.36 3/4, up 1 3/4 cents,
Dec 25 MGEX Wheat is at $5.71 1/2, down 1/4 cent,
Mar 26 MGEX Wheat is at $5.91 1/2, up 1/4 cent,
